Many of our first response to a question is always going to be, "which SSP are you working with?" So before asking a question, please make sure you have an SSP engaged on your opportunity or account, and you at least know which resource is aligned to your team or territory.   • If it's a general question about product functionality: have you tried searching the documentation? If that didn't answer it ➡️ ask a question in the ZT Q&A Wiki ➡️ a well-maintained setup walkthrough is also available here.

  • If it's about validating a technical customer use case: Have you engaged a SASE Architect with a DSR? ➡️ if that doesn't feel appropriate, send an email to the Center of Excellence.

  • If you need help kicking off a POC or troubleshooting an active one: you should immediately request help from the Center of Excellence. In the interim, their wiki has links to the WARP and Tunnel runbooks, as well as recorded training sessions and discussions.
  • If you have a question about feature availability or delivery: Make sure you've already filed the appropriate feature request ➡️ Have you checked the Shipboard? ➡️ If that doesn't answer your question, ask in the ZT Q&A Wiki and @ the appropriate Product Manager and the SSP you're working with.

  • If it's a general question about the industry: Do you have a good foundational SASE understanding? If not, read this, if yes ➡️ Is it about a competitor? Or maybe a common term or idea? If none of those helped ➡️ ask in our Team Chat.

  • If help is needed with a POC: Submit a pilot ticket to ensure it's reviewed in the Pilot Review weekly meeting. Be sure to attach a custom project plan and any necessary diagnostic files, logs, or screenshots so that issues can be appropriately and quickly addressed.

  • If it's related to working with Product Management: It's important for our PM org to get first-hand experience hearing about customer challenges so that we build the right things at the right time! SSP is a great leverage point to consolidate this. First, familiarize yourself with our PM org and roles at this table ➡️ If you want to discuss a feature, make sure you've submitted a feature request for the applicable customers ➡️ If it's a question about product functionality or use case fit, first check with another member of the SSP team, or with an Architect. If they don't know the answer ➡️ post your question in the ZT Q&A Wiki ➡️ If that doesn't get your question answered, reach out directly to the PM responsible for the question area. One of the hardest things about learning something new is knowing where to start. The CF1 team has invested a lot of time to make information as accessible as possible, but understanding and prioritizing where to search is its own unique challenge.
